Learn About Industrial Exhaust Fans
Industrial exhaust fans are also known as exhaust fans with large flow and are one of the ventilation equipment commonly used in the Vietnamese market today. Choosing the right fan capacity and installing it according to your needs will help ensure clean air and increase convenience when used with other equipment such as air conditioners, cookers, etc.
Conventional fans are used in the following cases: Supplying fresh air to factories, workshops, restaurants, hotels and families. Exhausting exhaust from production areas, residential areas and even exhausting kitchen smoke in hotels and restaurants. Exhausting exhaust from toilets.
Fans are indispensable equipment in the production process and living space because of their outstanding advantages such as:
                – The fan operates very stably, has large air flow and high pressure.
                – When operating, the fan will bring fresh and clean air to the space, ensuring the health of the user.
                – The fan operates quite smoothly and helps users save some electrical energy.
                – The fan can be used in both suction and discharge systems.
                – Helps consumers save up to 60% in costs compared to air conditioners with the same performance.
How to choose the most suitable fan before installing it for the project.
– Based on different needs and purposes of use to choose the fan, but this is only the basic step. It is necessary to rely on the structure and operating principle of the fan to divide into two types: axial fan and centrifugal fan.
1. Axial exhaust fan
This is a type of ventilation fan with air intake and exhaust parallel to the fan shaft. The fan is also often used to exhaust smoke or air, the characteristic of the fan is that the number of fan blades is quite small, often cutting the air directly when the environment is dusty. This is also the reason why the fan blades of this device are often corroded very quickly, due to frequent friction with dust and air. There are two types of axial exhaust fans commonly used on the market:
  • Direct Drive Axial Fan – A type of fan whose blades are mounted directly to the motor.

  • Indirect axial fan – A type of fan that uses a belt to transmit rotation from the motor to the blades.
2. Centrifugal exhaust fan
Fans usually have a large number of blades that cut the air, indirect drive motors and direct drive motors with belts are usually placed completely outside the path of the suction air, so the motor usually avoids direct dirt from the air flow. And that is also the reason why fans can withstand a certain level of dusty air.
